This chair is an excellent basic chair for a Big and/or Tall person. To get this weight rating (500 lbs) usually starts around $600. 00 for other chairs. I bought the blue hoping the picture was not correct and I was happy when I saw the color. The actual color of the blue is not as bright-more navy less royal, much more suitable for office decor. I have been using mine for about 2 months at a desk in a retail enviroment; lots of up and down but lots of sitting as well on a concrete floor and no problems at all. Will buy another for my home as well.

Purchased this chair for a big & tall employee. Was impressed when I put it together as it was all metal, except for the wheels. This was a hefty chair. Employee liked its feel, height, stability, size of seat pan, etc. However, within 30 days one of the wheels broke. I imagine it was due to his tendency to lean way back in the chair, but still, it only lasted 30 days before we had to call in on the warranty. Wheels are on backorder.
